Restaurant Review: Art Caffe- Great Vibes, Mixed Bites

Art Caffe is known for its stylish ambience and great service, and while the experience started strong, the food this time around didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

1.FOOD:

~Pasta with meatballs- 6\10 I had high hopes, but the pasta was a bit too heavy on the tomato for my liking. The meatballs were decent, but overall, the dish felt a little one-note. Not bad – just not memorable.

~Shrimp Dish- 5\10 Unfortunately, the shrimp didn’t do it for me. It lacked the wow factor and wasn’t something I’d go back for. It just didn’t live up to the rest of the menu’s reputation.

3. Customer Service- 12\10 Now this was the highlight. The staff were beyond amazing- friendly, professional, and super attentive. They turned what could’ve been a forgettable meal into an enjoyable experience. Service like that deserves a praise!

4. Ambience- 9\10 Clean, chic, and stylish. Art Caffe always nails the atmosphere. It’s a great spot to unwind, meet friends, or even work remotely with coffee.

Overall Verdict: While the food didn’t quite do it for me this time, the incredible customer service and beautiful setting made the visit worthwhile. With a few tweaks to the dishes, this could’ve been a stellar experience. I’d give it another shot, maybe something else on the menu.

Recommendation: Go for the vibes and service just pick your dish wisely

Restaurant Review: Java House- The heartbeat of Nairobi’s cafe culture.

Java house continues to live up to its reputation as one of the most consist of and beloved coffeehouse chains in Kenya. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, a hearty brunch, or a relaxed dinner, Java never disappoints.

1. Customer Services-9/10 The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience smooth enjoyable. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I felt well taken care of.

2.Ambience- 8.5\10

Java has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re eating solo or with company, the vibe is welcoming and consistent.

3.FOOD: ~Pork Ribs- 11/10 Absolutely phenomenal. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The ribs were perfectly cooked and coated in a rich glaze that made every bite memorable. If you’re a meat lover, this is a must try! ~Fries- 7/10 The fries were decent- golden and crispy, but not the highlight of the meal. They served as a good side, but the ribs clearly stole the show.

Overall Verdict: Java House came through with top tier meal. The pork ribs are a hidden gem on the menu, and I would 100% go back for them. If you’re planning a casual lunch or dinner, Java is a safe- and tasty- bet.

Recommendation: Definitely try the pork ribs. Come hungry, leave happy.

2nd Meal at Java

I decided to go back to Java cause I was so impressed with the last food I ordered to try more of their delicacies.

Java 2nd Review:

Since I already gave a review of the customer service and the ambience I will only review the food today.

Food~ fries with chicken coated with a mushroom sauce

Fries-4/10 Contrast to my last experience this time I was very delighted with their food. The fries were highly undercooked and not seasoned at all. They didn’t look up to their former praise and I wasn’t impressed at all.

Chicken glazed with mushroom sauce-3/10 As much as I am a huge fan of chicken, I never thought I would come to despise a certain taste of chicken. It was either over seasoned or something wasn’t right there I really didn’t like the taste at all.

I would definitely recommend the other food but this one not at all
